Gregorio Bardini is an Italian flutist, musicologist, master of Italian industrial scene and a scholar of ancient Indo-European cultures. Professor at Vivaldi Institute of Music, Bolzano, Italy. Author of numerous books articles and publications researching the relationship between music, spiritualism, tradition, shamanism, occultism, spiritualism.

Gregorio Bardini plays flute, bodhran, percussions, duduk, zurna, kena, ocarina, ciaramella... It's more than twenty years that Gregorio Bardini is active as solo music player and as a musician, collaborating with different bands and musical projects (Thelema, Razza Ventura, Kino Glaz, Bleiburg etc). Trained classical flute player, he played with big names of the classical music scene (Severino Gazzelloni to name one). Deeply interested into European, Celtic, Lombardian, Armenian Eurasian, Indian culture and traditions, Gregorio wrote also a book about interfluence of music and shamanism. Gregorio's albums were released by Arx Collana, The Eastern Front, Officina Sonica, Multimood labels. Gregorio was born in 1966 in Ostiglia (MN), Italy. Gregorio got his musical education at The Municipal Music School in Sermide Scuola di Musica comunale di Sermide ((MN), State School Of Art In Castelmassa, Institute Of Music in Bolzano.

He studied flute at the “Arrigo Boito” Music Conservatory in Parma with Mauro Scappini and did graduate work in ethnomusicology at University Of Bologna (dissertation “Music and Shamanism in Eurasia”). Bardini received further artistic impulses at the master classes with Severino Gazzeloni, Andras Adorjan, Maxance Larrieu, Peter Lukas Graf, Janos Balint and for the composition with Sylvano Bussoti.

He played as a flutist classic and contemporary music in the most important cities in Italy as well as in Austria, Iceland and Greece and collaborated with Tuxedo Moon, Steve Piccolo and Tony Wakeford. Gregorio recorded several full-length albums as well as collaborative albums with other European musicians. Since 1999 Bardini is a professor in Vivaldi Institute Of Music in Bolzano, Italy.

Gregorio Bardini svolge un'intensa attività concertistica nel campo della musica classica, antica e popolare in Italia e all'estero come solista e in gruppi da camera. Ha conseguito il Diploma in Flauto traverso presso i Conservatori di Mantova e Parma e la Laurea in Filologia ugro-finnica presso l'Università di Bologna; ha seguito poi corsi di perfezionamento con Severino Gazzelloni, Silvano Bussotti, A. Mayr, G. Trovesi ed altri grandi nomi della scena internazionale. Oltre al flauto traverso moderno ed ai numerosi flauti—etnici, suona quello rinascimentale ed il traversiere barocco.
